Zainab Asunramu is an activist, writer, Parliamentary Researcher, and an advocate for human rights (specifically women’s rights). A trained school speaker and workshop facilitator for rights, race, privilege and power, Zainab is passionate about anti-racism work, intersectionality, politics at the grassroots level and transformational change within organisations, to better benefit minority communities.
Zainab centres the lived experiences of people from marginalised communities. She uses her voice to speak up and write about, discrimination and racism. One of her proudest moments was organising a Know Your Rights Webinar, which was viewed by 3.8K people ahead of the BLM protests in June 2020.
